Mutassim Gaddafi shaking hands with Hiliary Clinton in the White House in 2009. During their meeting he discussed interest in purchasing American military supplies for Libya.
In 2009 he and Muammar Gaddafi also met with Republican senators to talk about similar issues; “The Senators recognized Libya’s cooperation on counterterrorism and conveyed that it was in the interest of both countries to make the relationship stronger.”
Mutassim Gaddafi was killed today along with his father by Libyan rebels.
